How can we resist telling you about the contest, no matter how much it may increase the competition, when the article by Michael Wolff has the headline, “What ad biz needs are writers.”?
Wolff points out that Steve Jobs told Jay Chiat, (former CEO of Apple's agency, Chiat/Day), "Pictures" are easy. Words are hard." I may not completely agree, but I must admit that my bias is certainly in that direction. Though of course, I firmly believe that bottom line it’s not the words or the graphics…it’s the idea that they are creating/supporting that makes the difference.
