Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a list of suggestions on how to come up with new ideas?
Well, there is. It was published in The New York Times Business section last week, in an article by Mickey Meece.
Some of the article focuses on the 2008 IdeaFestival, created by Kris Kimel in 2000. (How could a blog like mine not love a festival with a name like that?)
There is a link to the full article here, but some of the suggestions on the list include:
• Think when you are not thinking, for example, on a run or walk
• Attend a conference outside your field
• Be curious and experiment
It would be a good idea for you to read the article, but don’t think of it is a replacement for reading my book, which has lots of lists!
And finally, for those waiting for a Halloween reference: Boo!!
